The
dragon landed right behind Rein’s group. The body was full of battle scars,
scars from both magic and steel. It breathed fire to a wide area in front of
him, preventing the guards from moving in to attack. The guards were standing
ready to react to anything and protect Tiana. The dragon was breathing heavily and
start staring at Rein after he lit up the fire separating him from the guards
and Rein’s group. After a few moment it dropped its giant body to the ground
without diverting his stare at Rein.
Rein
slowly climb down from the horse and hastily told Tiana “tell your men to stand
down”. Without looking back to see how Tiana might respond, Rein approached the
dragon carefully. Rein jumped over the fire and closing in to the dragon to a
step away from its laying head and put his right hand on the dragon’s snout.
Right
after Rein touched the dragon, he immediately knew who it was, Archangel Arkion.
Arkion closed his eyes, using his energy to transform some piece of his memory
to Rein where he showed Rein the reason why he had to transform into his beast
form and what chaos is rampaging on the seventh sky. And also the battle he
lost, the battle where he got all his scars and made up his mind to run away
from that place.
After
witnessing the condition of the seventh sky through Arkion memories, Rein took
a step back in shock. Arkion opened his mouth. Inside, a sword laid on his
tongue, drowned in fire that looked like liquid. Arkion gulped the liquid fire,
leaving the sword in his tongue. A shinning bastard sword with a navy blue
handle and a small thunder symbol at the base of the blade. Rein took up the
sword and inspected it as if he knew that sword.
Meanwhile
inside the castle, Sir Andras has been busy descending the stairs and running
from his laboratory at the tower behind the castle to the castle courtyard
since he sensed Rein’s group entering the town and another thing flying not so
far behind them. A couple times he stumbled and dropped his sword while rashly
running until he stepped down the castle door staircase and reached the
courtyard.
Seeing
a dragon and the ground burning near Tiana, he tighten his left upper arm and
his upper body where he gripped his sword. Put his hand on the handle ready to
draw it, strengthen the grip. And dashed away to a step behind Rein.
Sir Andras drew his sword to slash
Rein from left side. Rein quickly blocked it with his sword. But Sir Andras did
a quick spinning kick to counter the block, and sent Rein flying to Arkion
side.
Provoked
by Sir Andras attack on Rein, Arkion rose back up and breathed fire right to
Sir Andras from point blank range. Sir Andras put up a blocking stance with its
sword, blocking the fire from touching him and Tiana and the three escort
horsemen that were still behind him watching. But it made the fire goes to his
side and causing the remaining guards to have to leap back to prevent them self
from being burned by the fire.
When
the fire breath stopped, Sir Andras put back his sword in but leaving the base
of the blade unsheathed. This time he strengthen his grip and charged magic to
his sword from his right hand. Causing the sword to glow violently like
scorching iron. He took a step back and was ready to let out a slash with his
sword.
“Sir
Andras! Stand down!” Ordered Tiana. Sir Andras stopped his magic flow and
loosen his grip on his sword. The sword glow was overcasted. “there goes another
sheath” said Sir Andras as his sword sheath turned to ash. Showing his long
straight one tipped sword, guardless, and shinning in black metallic material.
Sir
Andras still had his sword ready on his right hand but is standing more calmly.
Rein got back up, held his head a little bit dizzy. Still in the tenseness,
Arkion dropped his body, sending dust around him. “Arkion!” shouted Rein. Arkion
breathed heavily while trying to lift up his head to speak to Rein. Rein ran in
front of Arkion, making Sir Andras took a step back in precaution. “whats
happening to you?!” asked Rein to Arkion in a worrying tone. “im out of time,
and out of energy, i cant maintain my form any longer. That sword you're holding
is the only help i can give you. You must help while there is still a little
bit of order, Rein.” Said Arkion hoarsely. Arkion finally dropped his head and
breathe his last. His body were glowing in light as if his scales were
scorching and turned to ash.
Rein
looked at the symbol on his sword as he witnessed Arkion turning to ash and whispered in tears “i will, teacher.”
